We cannot wait to see who will win tomorrow!

European university championship in basketball 3x3 is coming to an end and tomorrow we will witness some great games and find out who will take home the medals. Men and women tournaments are equally exciting and we cannot day for the final day to start.

Men tournament was full of drama and some matches played today can be described as epic. We saw the final games in the group stage and the first round of the playoffs. In the group stage most exciting were the matches in group C between University of Primorska and University of Split 2, and University of Primorska and the Romanian Petroleum-Gas University that were decisive for places in the playoffs. Primorska lost against the domestic team, but won against the Romanians and qualified for the first round of the playoffs.

But, not a single game today was exciting as the group A match between Technion university and the University of Shumen from Bulgaria. Two direct contenders for the place in the playoffs played an epic game. After the 10 minutes score was tied, but the Israeli player took the responsibility and brought crowd to their feet.

In the women competition we will have pretty equal ties in the quarterfinals and it is really hard to pronounce the favorites. First of all we have to congratulate University Vasyl Stefanyk from Ukraine and the University of Nantes from France for the perfect match played at the central court. Those two teams decided who will be first and second in the group B and the victory went to the Ukranian girls – 16:13.

Last year finalists from Ljubljana and Lithunia can face in the semi final if they win against University of Nantes and Moscow State Academy for Physical Education.

Olga Maznichenko from the Ukranian University Vasyl Stefanyk said that "There are not so many teams who play professional basketball 3x3. We prepared well for the tournament and had some dificult matches in the group. This is our first time Croatia and Split is very nice. We expect tough day tomorrow and to give our best to win the tournament."
